Fannin GOP is excited for the Red Wave coming in our November election season! To kick that off, 21 year old Regional Election Integrity Director Thomas Whatley with Georgia Victory, currently living in Dahlonega, will be speaking at our monthly meeting on Monday at 6:30 pm at the GOP HQ located at 21 High Park Drive.
Georgia Victory partners with the Georgia GOP to provide grassroots support in many different forms, such as voter registration, door knocking, and most recently election integrity efforts. These efforts include poll watcher recruiting, as well as training and support. The group has had great success in Virginia and New Jersey, and hope to replicate the election integrity team efforts here in Georgia.
21 year old Thomas began his political work in 2015 and 2016 volunteering for Karen Handel. He then participated in political internships. Thomas then worked for Governor Kemp in his fight against Stacy Abrams in the last gubernatorial election. In 2020, Thomas worked for the Trump, Perdue, and Leoffler campaigns as a field organizer. Thomas is now the Northeast Election Integrity Director for Georgia Victory.
