At the July 17 meeting, Fannin County School Board Chair Terry Bramlett spoke about the thriving local public school system, with no debt and with money from E-SPLOST (Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) that has paid for new buildings and up to date technology. Students are graduating from Fannin County High School well prepared for college or already on a career path for employment in a range of fields including nursing assistant, carpentry, welding, and audio-video technology.
