What wonderful news we all had on the morning after the election, with Donald Trump as President-Elect! Our meeting this month will be a victory celebration on Monday November 18 at 5:30 pm at the Fannin County High School cafeteria. Please join us with your family for a “Friends-giving” potluck dinner, and plan to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Greg Staffins will be smoking 10 turkeys and bringing gravy and dressing. Charles and Trish are bringing green beans with bacon, cupcakes and 2 fruit platters. Marco will have plates, cups, utensils and water. Adam is providing other drinks, and Susan will bring homemade dinner rolls. Let us all give thanks together for the election outcome, and hopefully by the 18th we’ll also know that Republicans have a majority in the House!
