Our final turkey shoot is tomorrow, Saturday, December 16 from 10 AM to 2 PM on Highway 515 next to Mason Tractor Co.! There will be target shooting with shotguns and 22s, and also skeet shooting. $5 entry fee/round, one shot/round, and one winner/round. A CZ double barrel shotgun valued at $1,000 will be raffled off, with the winner to be drawn at the end of the turkey shoot. Raffle tickets are $10 each, or 6 tickets for $50. If you can’t make it to the event but would like to buy raffle tickets today, call Charles Fish at 706-455-8745 or Greg Staffins at 678-457-1849. BBQ will be available for purchase at the shoot.

The Fannin County Republican Party elected a new Chair and Second Vice Chair at its April 18th meeting. Howie Bruce was elected as Chair, and Joe Owens was elected as Second Vice Chair. Congratulations to Howie and Joe!
