At last night’s meeting, Fannin GOP Chair Frank Wood resigned his position as Chairman after being appointed acting District Attorney, and First Vice Chair Charles Fish was elevated to Acting Chairman. Election Board Chair Sonia Smith announced the dates of the many elections taking place this year. Nine people announced their intent to run for election or re-election for the School Board, Superior Court Clerk, or Tax Commissioner.
