At our March meeting, Diane Simmons of Turning Point USA spoke about sending high school and college students to conferences to learn about the conservative movement. The Fannin High School Republican Club President Caitlin O’Mara said they now have 30 members, and they took a trip to the State Capitol and had a float in the high school’s homecoming parade, thanks to Fannin GOP Chair Charles Fish. Ten candidates for public office also spoke.
